The South Asian Public Health Association's (SAPHA) Brown Paper on the Health of South Asians in the United States reviews and summarizes key health issues facing South Asians in this country. Through this report, SAPHA seeks to:

• Designate priorities for further health research
• Increase resource-allocation for the growing South Asian American population.
